I bought a mobile phone today, went with Cingular prepaid.  Ended up getting a RAZR because since I have no money and no income I may as well get the top of the line phone.  I mean, why the hell not?!?!  For some reason it’s $100 cheaper to buy over the web than it is at an actual store… which is fine with me because the dude manning the local Cingular store was dumber than a stunned monkey.  Of course then when I signed up on the website I screwed up the credit card which meant that I had to deal with another stunned monkey manning the phone lines.  Average IQ of cingular employees encountered thus far: 40.  Actually that may be a cumulative number.  In any case, it is probably not a good sign that every encounter with cingular thus far has been depressingly annoying and slow.  Alas, woe is me.
